Overview and Responsibilities

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Resource Manager (RN, LPN, PT) - Wound Care Division to join our team. In this position, you are responsible for dual clinical/sales role to promote and educate internal and external customers on Rotech's Wound Care product portfolio Advanced Wound Dressings (AWD) and Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT).

  • Assist as needed with the development, implementation and delivery of internal product education and training
  • Assists Sales Excellence with training activities of employees where necessary this includes accurate documentation of training status and identifies training needs for staff
  • Attend national conferences and exhibitions as required
  • Attend training and courses as required
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales leadership to develop strategy and execution to achieve business goals
  • Collaborate with various departments to assist in various governmental and payer audits as needed
  • Coordinates the delivery of live product trainings as well as live education programs
  • Develops and maintains a working knowledge of current Medicare, Medicaid, insurance regulations and qualifications
  • Develops and maintains working knowledge of current products and services offered by the company and all applicable governmental regulations
  • Develops detailed knowledge of important customers/referral sources
  • Identifies areas in Rotech where educational programs are needed (internally and externally) and shares with appropriate internal partners
  • Maintains continuing education as necessary for performance of job responsibilities and as required for state licensure or certification
  • Participates and gives input in national, regional and local sales training meetings, customer visits and other promotional events as required
  • Participates in current educational programs, incorporating latest research into the appropriate programs and manages the content through multiple education platforms including live, online, webinar and written education
  • Proofreads Education and Marketing materials when necessary
  • Regular interaction with billing center personnel
  • Responsible for the development, implementation and delivery of education and product training programs for Rotech's key customers and referral sources
  • Review patient charts and discern compliance with Rotech's policies and procedures
  • Routinely reviews and weighs in on new education material including but not limited to clinical education, product training, sharing of best practices and latest research
  • When requested, provides clinical guidance to understand customer complaints and propose potential methods to resolve clinical product and user issues in partnership with other necessary internal groups
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Travel

  • Travel 30 - 50% of the time

Qualifications

Employment is contingent on

  • Background investigation (company-wide)
  • Drug screen (when applicable for the position)
  • Valid driver's license in state of residence with a clean driving record (when applicable for the position)

Required Education and/or Experience

  • Completion of an accredited program/degree in nursing or physical therapy, required
  • Credentials as a registered nurse (RN), licensed practical nurse (LPN) or physical therapy (PT), required

Preferred Education and/or Experience

  • Knowledge of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) or Home Medical Equipment (HME), preferred
  • Maintain CEUs as required by state law and if not required by state law
  • Medical terminology, preferred
  • Two years of related work experience, preferred
  • WOCN, advanced practice certification in wound care, preferred
  • Wound care experience, preferred

  • Interpret a variety of communications (verbal, non-verbal, written, listening and visual)
  • Maintain confidentiality, discretion and caution when handling sensitive information

  • Requires close vision to small print on computer and/or tablet and paperwork
