Social Work Associate Psych-ZSFG-Adult-CWCM Full Time 78349BR Job Summary Under the general supervision of the Clinical Supervisor, the incumbent will be assigned to the Citywide Focus Hong Ling Team. The Hong Ling team has a focus on Asian clients. The incumbent will provide tangible case management services such as arranging temporary housing, assisting in the filing for benefits or welfare assistance, scheduling client personal activities in accord with psychiatric problems and prescribed care; provide a supportive relationship to clients; provide crisis intervention as needed; make appropriate referrals; maintains client records according to California, City and County requirements; and participate in an interdisciplinary treatment team. Attends staff meetings and participates in training session, other duties as assigned. To learn more about the benefits of working at UCSF, including total compensation, please visit: https://ucnet.universityofcalifornia.edu/compensation-and-benefits/index.html Department Description Citywide Case Management Programs is a Division of the UCSF/ZSFG Department of Psychiatry, located at 982 Mission St. Its mission is to provide behavioral health intensive case management services to adults who suffer from serious mental illness, co-occurring substance abuse disorder and chronic medical conditions, experience significant systemic determinant of health, including justice-involvement or other forms of institutionalization, poverty and housing instability. Required Qualifications * Possession of a bachelor's degree in social work from a program approved by the Council on Social Work Education, and one year of experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience; and knowledges and abilities essential to the successful performance of the duties assigned to the position.
