Position Profile

The Sample Department Associate will serve as a member of the Sample Department Outbound team. The associate position participates in various areas of Sample Department operation including order fulfillment, product inspection, inventory control, sample production and shipping & receiving.

Principal Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)

  • Pick textile sample orders for clients and Holly Hunt showrooms using the RFID gun.
  • Create shipping labels for sample orders domestic and international as well as create commercial invoices for International sample shipments.
  • Plan & release sample orders in the WMS system and ensure each order is 100% complete.
  • Communicate with HOLLY HUNT sales associates with tracking numbers and special sample project status updates.
  • Enter e-mail orders from the internal clients to the Order-track system, prioritize orders based on ECD provided by the sales staff.
  • Receive returned samples in the WMS system using the RFID gun.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy of samples in the system.
  • Ensure proper and accurate turnaround times for sample orders.
  • Communicate any inventory and order concerns to the management.
  • Provide hands-on assistance to the Sample Department Operations Manager and the Sample Department Lead to manage daily workload.
  • Troubleshoot orders in the WMS system.
  • Adhere and comply with all safety and floor policies of the company.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
  • Must have a strong record of working autonomously and without constant direction.
  • Ability to maintain highest levels of productivity in the dynamic work environment.
  • Strong computer skills required, such as MS Excel, MS Word.
  • Excellent customer service skills to ensure our internal customers are satisfied.
