College of Health Professions and Sciences:

The University of Central Florida (UCF) College of Health Professions and Sciences (CHPS) is home to nationally recognized programs focused on health and wellness - and a respected faculty dedicated to teaching innovations and research partnerships. The college offers accredited programs in athletic training, communication sciences and disorders, physical therapy, and social work. CHPS also offers one of UCF's largest majors, health sciences, as well as popular programs in sport and exercise science within the field of kinesiology. Through coursework, field experience, and interprofessional education, our students develop high-demand skills in healthcare and cultural competency for working with varied populations.

The Opportunity:

The University of Central Florida (UCF) College of Health Professions and Sciences (CHPS) Finance Business Centers (FBC) is seeking highly qualified candidates for a Travel & Procurement Coordinator II. The UCF's FBCs provide the first point of contact support for employees across the university's various colleges and divisions. Each center is embedded within a college or division, allowing the Finance, Research & Procurement staff within the center to be integrated into the operations and culture of the community in which they work. Through this model, Finance & Procurement staff act as invaluable advisors and business advocates for the college or division that they serve.

UCF is seeking to fill multiple roles. Candidates for this job posting will be considered for additional vacancies in this department.

Responsibilities:


  • Prepare travel expense reports.

  • Collect receipts and review expense reports for policy adherence.

  • Prepare procurement expense reports.

  • Implement and maintain college accounting operations.

  • Provide and coordinate the compiling of budget and related financial information.

  • Make P-Card purchases for college needs.

  • Resolve supplier invoice issues and discrepancies.

  • Verify, review, and reconcile P-Card purchases.

  • Monitor accounts for compliance with university fiscal policy and the state of Florida guidelines.


Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent and (2+) years of relevant experience or combination of relevant comparable education and experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219. Click here for more information

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience supporting travel and/or purchasing items and services.

  • Experience working in an office environment.

  • Experience working within internal controls and financial operations of a company.

  • 1-3 years of accounting experience.

  • Higher Ed experience.
